What is a custom farm-to-table meal delivery business? In short: we cook meals for you customized to suit your food likes and dislikes. Dietary requirements too, if you have any – so we can help you lose weight, gain weight, manage restrictive diets, or just eat delicious, healthy food from great produce.
We source ingredients from small family farms who grow their food the right way – fruit and vegetables raised without chemical pesticides, herbicides, or fertilizers of any kind; meat and fish sourced from livestock raised in its natural environment – grass-fed beef and lamb, pastured chicken, pork, and eggs, and wild-caught fish.
Then we take those ingredients and custom-make meals for you and deliver them to you, fully cooked and apportioned. All you need to do is warm up (on the stove, oven, or microwave) and enjoy.
How it works
1. You tell us a little about yourself. Food likes, dislikes, and where and when you’d like your meals.
2. You order your meals. Customize meal plans any way you like – three meals a day, dinners only, or whatever your needs may be. You can find pricing information here.

Portable Chef founder Uri Attia’s oatmeal chocolate chip cookies were better than everyone else’s cookies on “bring a cookie to school” day in Mrs. Kassen’s class in Kindergarten. And it just started building from there.
Uri has a bachelor’s degree in economics from Stanford University and an MBA in Finance and Management from New York University. His culinary knowledge is self-taught, but with comparable vigor. His passion for food – sourcing, cooking, and eating – led him to start Portable Chef.
Portable Chef reflects Uri’s belief that meals need to be prepared the right way – from scratch, using chemical-free, farmer-sourced ingredients and humanely-raised livestock – and when they are, the result is best for your health, best for the environment, and the absolute best-tasting.
